    December 10th, 2015

Okay, just a bit of description of what's going on with the following tracks.
The first track is source material that has been played at the show,
Three other tracks are recorded material using binaural head and simple lossless recorder.
That's the first time this setup was used "in the field" for harvesting of sonic performance of wide range of audio systems. (of of of, meh) The main goal i'm trying to achieve with this experiment is to let you perceive the difference between diverse audio systems.

As long as the recordings are made in controlled manner:
     - Same tracks being played
     - Same microphone with same recorder and same head
     - Same reproduction thru your's headphones/speakers
The only source of difference should come from the audio system itself which has been recorded thru this setup.
So, theoretically speaking, we've got a good theory :)

I choose binaural head to make the environment of recording-reproduction chain more controllable and more "real" to the perception, as well as easier to maintain (two-microphone recording for speaker reproduction requires quite a lot of experience and tinkering, whereas binaural head could be easily placed in the center and catch all the waves "as is", as well as during playback reproduce them in very same "as is" manner directly into your ears, it's like a time machine for sound waves :)

Okay, long story short, here are they:
*** Try them with headphones, don't hesitate to play them thru speakers.

*** the recording rig was extremely experimental and simplimistic, leaving me a lot of headroom for improvements :) /* state of the art DACs, preamps et cetera, as well as better head. does anyone have bruel and kjaer head in the closet? :) */
